SKP900 key programmer experience on Ford Explorer 2013

I bought a SKP900 car key programmer from a seller on Facebook lately. I have been looking for a good chance to get one and finally as its price dropped to $639 including shipment, I pulled the trigger immediately.

The SKP900 programmer is smaller and more delicate than I thought. It is basically as big as my hand. But what it can do is amazing! I programmed two smart keys for 2013 Nissan Altima and today replace a new remote for Ford Explorer 2013 today without reading pin code because the tool is able to do it for me. It is a plug and play device and the whole process took less than 15 minutes.

Step 1 Connect SKP-900 Key Programmer to a Nissan OBD connector via Main Cable, start the car with a remote and wait a few seconds for SKP900 to start.

Step 2 Select Nissan, New Structure and choose Yes to continue.

Step 3 Select Key 1 and choose Yes


Step 4 Select Immobilizer System according to the cars Immo and choose Yes.


Step 5 Wait for a few minutes until SKP900 communicates with the car.


Step 6 Select Function, System Selection then Key Adapt and choose Yes.


Step 7 Choose Yes.


Step 8 According to the instruction on screen, you should insert a new key and turn IGN on. You may see the IMMO indicator light will flash when inserting a key which cannot start engine. Select Yes.

Step 9 Close IGN switch and select Yes.


Step 10 Wait for system adapting and then open IGN switch and select Yes.


Step 11 Wait for a few minutes and the key is programmed successfully.

How to SKP900 key programmer white screen problem

It’s very seldom that you will get white screen problem when programming keys with SuperOBD SKP900 auto key programmer. Here is the proper solution provided.

Problem:
When programming VW Passat 2010 key with SKP900 key programmer, the process was going nicely, but the SKP900 device went white with stripe flashing halfway (error screenshots token below)

Solution:
1) Disconnect the device from OBD socket
2) Download the SKP900 update tool and re-activate/reset the key programmer

3) If your SKP900 is the not latest version, update it to V3.5 follow the instruction below:

4) When the SKP900 hand-held OBD2 key programmer re-flash is complete, program the key again.

Here is the detail instruction on programming Honda CR-V key when all key lost with original SuperOBD SKP900 hand-held OBD2 key programmer (current V3.5) within 2 minutes.

Step-by-step instruction:
Plug the SKP900 auto key programmer with vehicle using main cable via OBD socket
Select vehicle make Honda and CR-V
Select “ALL KEY LOST” in function selection menu

Select program key from “IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM”

Select Honda CR-V IMMO type “IMMOBILIZER 2”

Follow the SKP900 automotive key programmer prompt until the second key has been programmed
